Spring Clean Up

Spring Clean Up & Community Impact Morning
Come join us to prepare for the pool opening by cleaning up our grounds!
We will also have a Winter coat drive benefiting Moments of Hope Outreach on Rte 301.
What are we asking for?
1. We are asking that every family, whether you can stay to volunteer or not, to bring old winter coats of all sizes (larger coat sizes are a great need!) to Old Church Community Center. Even if you cannot attend the clean up portion of the event, please feel free to drop off your donation to us!
2. We are in need of some equipment that morning: leaf blowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmer, branch cutters, wheelbarrows, pitchforks, paint brush, and power washer. If you are able to bring a tractor to help us consolidate logs and debris into a pile deeper into the woods, or a Harley rake for the ball field, please let us know!
Every volunteer working that brings a donation and family that can’t attend, but drops off a donation will be given a FREE 2021 SEASONS GUEST PASS (1 Per Family)
and FREE DONUTS & BOTTLED WATER will be provided for all volunteers on site & pizza after from Papa John’s!
Our goal is have approximately 20 – 25+ people to divide up into 5 teams:
- Community Center: Detail clean the inside & freshen it up. Cleaning supplies will be provided for the community center project.
- Courtyard & Mulch Beds: Lay 5 yards of mulch!
- Fence Line & Perimeter: Trim brush and clear “park” grounds around the ball field and playground.
- Pavilion & Courtyard: Stain the picnic tables (8).
- Pressure Wash: Pavilion floor, back side of pool clubhouse, and courtyard walk way.
